Critically acclaimed artist, Jacob Banks, today unveils Yonder: Book I. This is the debut release of an upcoming album trilogy that will touch on a tapestry of different melodies and cultural influences.

In Yonder: Book I, Banks embarks on an immersive odyssey to better grapple with his roots, effortlessly blending African Soul sounds with his signature gravelly tone. This first offering is part confessional, part retrospective; honouring the ancestral heritage that first shaped him.

It’s often said that if you don’t know where you’ve come from, you can’t know where you’re going. Yonder: Book I is Banks‘ soulful attempt at piecing together his own lineage – an endeavour that, while challenging – brings him closer to the people, places, and things that have made him.

Jacob Banks is a Nigerian born, British singer, songwriter, and producer known for his soulful blend of R&B, pop, and alternative music.
